  • This is a great song, my Uncle lives in Cape May and taught this song to me. I don't live in Cape May but I am in NJ.

Now this is 100 percent true, he was playing a gig somewhere here in NJ and had this song requested of him, he denied the man's request saying he didn't like the song. The man that requested the song had written it! LOL how's that? Now he plays it all the time!

  • This song is played every Friday on the radio stations in Philly and south Jersey during the summer months. Having moved to Pittsburgh I no longer hear it. Funny how you miss some things. Cape May is my absolute favorite beach town. Anyone going should either take bikes or rent them and spend the day peddling around town. The houses are beautiful, the town is clean, and the people are friendly. Be sure to head out to the lighthouse too.

  • i goon to Cape May every year since I was two and my mom taught me this song and i think that it is is so sweet;D

  • AWESOME SONG!!!! Brings back memories of the jersey shore!

  • Great Song, It reminds me of hunting the beach for Cape May Diamonds when I was a kid.

  • Every town mentioned in this song is in Cape May County! Fortunately for those in CM, Irene is now expected to only be a Category 1 or 2 when it hits later today, August 27, 2011. My thoughts and prayers are still with those who faced mandatory evacuation.

  • I hope that Cape May will not fare too badly during Hurricane Irene, which is supposed to almost directly hit on August 27, 2011 as a Category 2 or 3 storm. My prayers are with all of those in Cape May County!

  • WILDWOOOOD!

  • I love Cape MAY!!!!!

  • I just got back from my honeymoon in Cape May and we enjoyed these pictures AND the song!

  • @Corocco1

My thoughts exactly when I saw this. The beautiful Victorian architecture is what made me fall in love with this charming town back in 1998 and return just about every year since.
