  • @SuperTrancend This is pretty true. Slam Poets need to listen to things other than slam, need to have writing influences outside of slam, and to be cautious of anything that sounds or feels too good.

  • anyone else notice how all slam poems have that same 'slam' sound? I'm serious too, at the last national championship this well known judge said the same thing, how people are trying to appeal, rather then express.
