Ipod Touch 4g / Iphone 4 Image Comparison - HDR vs Non-HDR

a comparison of hdr images vs non-hdr images taken by the ipod touch 4g. the hdr images were taken using ProHDR, i recommend this program to everyone, it's a great program.

as you can see, the hdr pictures look alot better, i'm quite impressed by the quality of the ipod touch 4g camera.

rofl the hdr thing just brightens the photos, the quality is exactly the same.

@MrBlient no it's actually much better, you get detail that you don't get with normal pics. you have to see the pictures in real life to see the difference.

@VanMedia it doesn't improve detail as such as how sharp, it takes 3 pictures, one normal, one too bright, one too dark and it puts them together to get darker brights and lighter darks.

@IamMeUareYou yes, i know what HDR is and what it does, but i'm saying the quality of the images look better with proHDR than without proHDR cause the lighting looks better. also what i mean when i say u get better is for example, in the pictures i took, if u focus on the sky then u will get a pic with the sky but less detail on eerything else. if u focus on everything else, u don't see the detail in the sky (like clouds and etc). with HDR, the final picture shows both.

@Jeyr2009 i believe so too, it's funny cause i had an old zune 30g and i was using it to read files but it could only view jpgs and the screen so small , it was very annoying cause i had to convert stuff to jpeg also. i finally said fuck it i need a good portable pdf reader. i researched alot of stuff, kindle readers, psp, and other stuff and in the end, the ipod was my final choice. it's funny cause i original wanted to buy the ipod just to read pdf files lol not for music, i'm amazed by it

@MrBlient actually what you said was wrong. What pro HDR does is that it takes a dark photo and a bright photo and it merges it together forming a picture that the regular camera app could do, because the camera app only focuses on one spot at a time, whether it's a focusing on the sky, the ground will be dark or if you focus on the ground the sky will only be white. But anyways, nice vid!!

@VanMedia lol i had a zune hd before having an ipod touch and i didnt know anything about it till my friend to me and i traded my zune for a brand new ipod touch 4g so it was best deal i ever made!! lol :D
