Um, I really hope that anyone that tries this gets the lines really straight through the center, not just kinda (like this vid), and can actually draw a circle using a compass. How you don't get a perfect circle with a compass, I'll never know...

on a small scale an axial compressor or turbine wont work. thats why smaller turbojets use centrifugal compressors/turbines and they must be balanced extremely well. if you dont know what im talking about you have no buisness building jet engine components.

If you are going to try this with any meaningful rotational speed, you need to end each radial cut with a hole. Leaving it sharp like this will create immense stress peak and will tear off the blades quickly.

thanks! im using a cylinder of a air freshner spray can, see what happens!!! im trying to make a gas jet turbine engine , i want a real sound of a plane, but i dnt knw of the efficiency and thurst! ;)
