Hummm. what's a Mom to do? Remove the TVs and the phones are a start and remeber being a kid. I hid everything under my bed, no matter how many time busted for it!!!! LOL!!!!

I have taken everything out of their room but their bed and dresser and believe it or not that does not work either. I have bben told they are as hard headed as I am. OOPS!!! Guilty as charged

In our house the kids do their homework and chores before they can play. If they don't do the chore or lie about it, not only do they lose their allowance, but they have to pay a fine too. The fine goes in their allowance "pot" and they have to do extra work to see it again. Stand your ground and they will come around sooner or later.

I think that is a great idea. I also try and do the homework and chores before playtime but it does not always work. One thing is that I have panic attacks and sometimes it is easier for me to do them myself then to keep on at them about doing what needs to be done. Thanks for your comment.
