Watching this video helps me forget about all of my problems
-
Whoa! I had no idea sparkfun did this too! Looks like I found a new home page!
-
what song is this playing?
-
extra challenge, only use 1 arduino, 3 continues rotation servos, 1 gps module, 1 range finder, and a tilt sensor (for emergency shutdown, to prevent the water hazard)
should also be able to run inside with the same stuff.
-
who won?
what was the design, in general.
how accurate was is the finish? +/- in/ft/yds?

the only real way to navigate around the building is to use a gps receiver with waypoints. and the only rover with this made its way around.
but i recon next year sparkfun should set up barriers around the outside of the carpark to prevent rovers from running into the lake (i wont say who here ;) )
anyway, awesome competition guys, icant wait till next year!!!

Looks nice! But, what was the goal of the competition? Or what kind of a competition was?

The goal of the competition was to race around the building, avoid obstacles and cross the finish line with the fastest time.
