Damn, that is one serving-table of a fretboard! (I keed, and I can because I played a 6-string exclusively for 5 years before going down to 5s. ;-) Knowing Conklin's pricing, I don't even WANT to ask how much an 8-string with Piezos & MIDI and that nice a top went for... but you put it to good use! I can't even imagine where I would start in terms of MIDI Bass, but you do it well. What are the specs on that beast, anyway? (woods, pups & electronics, etc...)

The Conklin 8 Bass is Walnut back,Zebra wood top,with a meld of Pao ferro (hope I spelled right) and Wenge.The neck is Zebra wood& Wenge,the fretboard is Pao ferro and Wenge. It has Conklin pickups and RMz Piezo If I remember correctly. thanks for the Comps,It means allot coming from a bassist like you .
