One judge, two men, two wildly different sentences. After this aired, Republican judge Keith Dean was removed from power by voters.
I post this video as a counterpoint to the original post. If a Dem messes up, hold him accountable. Same for a Republican. Yet oddly, the other post mentions Chet Edwards, who is barely relevant, and throws in the "democrat" tag to boot. And yet, no mention of the fact that the *judge* of all people, judge Keith Dean is a Republican. Huh...strange. Sounds like shady partisan tactics to me. Upon further investigation, I find poster caseyphillips1 lists himself as a Republican activist. Ahh, it all makes sense now.
Wow racism at it's pure form. This just proves to me more and more that the so called white man is the deceiver

incredibly unjust and tragic. Where are the appeals courts and the prosecutors who supported this decision? The justice system isn't supposed to be one man's opinion.

If that isn't how it works, then it should be. If every appeal was the same judge, and the judge was faced again with having to cover his own, dirty little secret, then it would only reinforce his decision to make sure this man never got out to tell anyone.

I'm not sure, I just don't see how he can exhaust all his appeals and still be in jail for life for smoking a joint.

Is that how it normally works?

This is pure insanity "he has exhausted all of his appeals" doesn't that mean that the case went before another judge, and that judge said "life for smoking a joint sounds fair to me"
