@dannyp1108 It is definitely not motiveless, the motives are clear. Consolidating and holding power and intimidating possible opponents and dissidents.
Voting against Mugabe won't make too much difference as the elections are most probably rigged. If you vote against Mugabe you will most definitely be identified and afterwards, kidnapped, tortured or even 'go missing'. Opposing the Zanu-PF party in public will get you arrested.

I think it's true that USA has a serious propaganda issue, as well as European media in my opinion, allthough BBC news is a lot more biased than channel4 news. However, I am surprised that you say that Zimbabwe is not covered in the USA because of "political correctness". I think you should watch the news more often because if they are willing to make up shit about the middle east, then they must be willing to talk about Africa
