why didnt you mount the motor horizontal
(lower and motor toward the front)? then
mount batteries or control module above
motor. It looks like there's room for it plus
lower c/g.

the Azure differential comes in two sorts - one is horizontal mount. Yes it would be possible but the motor itself would be lower. In retrospect possible but not sure it gives a major advantage re CoG. POssibly it would have been more complex to arrange the engine mount points. Anyway batteries mean CoG of car is much lower than original I am sure.

For DIY EVs: off all the great work you can see on the web; for the A2 - discussing with a friend and then looking at the car, just great for it.
