2010.02.09 Introduction to Topology: From the Konigsberg Bridges to Geographic Information Systems. Topology is the study of the spatial properties of objects that are unchanged by stretching. It is considered one of the essential fields of modern pure mathematics, and has found many applications outside of mathematics as well.

  • @happyman This is not a lecture from a course. This is part of a forum which brings lecturers to COA's campus for any COA community member and any outside community member to engage with. The questions were most likely asked by students focusing on resource areas not associated with Topology. Or they could have been gas station employees interested in the subject.
