The second clip is from November 2007 where he is saying that nobody foresaw all the foreclosings from sub prime mortgages. The second is nearly a year later after he had been warned. Good try though.

SSssssshhhhh........ No one is allowed to explore anything negative about Obama's past relationships. Ayers, Wright, Rezco, ACORN, Flager etc....... all off limits.

I love how he says... he gets things done in Washigton and he can reach accross the aisle yet, somehow, he says he "sounded the alarm" two years ago and nobody listened....lol

The press discussion at the end is linked from a different matter entirely, not the current financial crisis. This is just more Democratic dishonesty. McCain co-sponsored a bill in 2005 calling for more regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Obama just pocketed campaign contributions from those companies - the most of any Senator. Ever.

The folks that still believe the sewage that spew out of Bush and the rest of the GOP rich boys would be the same folks who believed every word of Hitler and even after they were shown the footage of Jews, some STILL thought that Hitler and the Nazi ideology were good things. For fucksake, how do these people sleep at night?

Bush may be weak on many points, but on this one he was right, at least 12 times he warned about fanny. He has too much concern for the country to raise partisan issues. He has been TOO forgiving of democratic stonewalling for 12 years on this subject. Clinto also asked for reform.
