I thought for sure CJ lost it- look at the finish! MIS is clearly ahead. anyway, CJ did deserve this after being tugged around coming off the turn.

Absolutely classic watching these two horses dig it out. Mambo isn't consistent, but he's got class, so has C. John...I was absoultely SCREAMING at the end (my pick, Macho Again, was like...eighth :( ). Tom Durkin dissapointed me a little with his call, but the end was amazing enough.

I thought his call was good up until the end. "Its gonna be a photo finish in the Traveerrrrrrrrrs... To close to Call!" He could have fit something more creative in there.

What a thriller this was! Colonel John got it by the flare of a nostril. What guts he showed coming down the stretch.

woo hoo! da tar allways stays on lead! they might want to make da tara a stalker in his position instead. wow! i was not expecting colonel john to come on the outside and take it by a photo finish! what a battle in the streach!

If you look at the photo, Colonel John is about a millimeter ahead. A mere nose hair. Can't get any closer than that. If the wire were at a different spot it could have been the opposite.
