DJA-Rara Fantastic Haitian/American 16 Piece Music Extravaganza Pt. 1

This Official World Music Festival 2010 act lit up the stage recently at the Glenwood Grallery. From Brooklyn New York DJA-Rara is a cultural activist group in the Haitian community. Their mission is to preserve the culture and increase self-awareness to young Haitian Americans. The group performs in Brooklyn's Prospect Park each Sunday during the summer months. Included on their musical is a number of vuvuzela players. They are so good they take a variation of the vuvuzela, that horn that was so disparaged during the recent World Cup, and make good music.
