This shocked the hell out of me!! I didn't train for this at all, I just tried it and prayed that I didn't fall. I was orignally going for a push up but I found myself being unable stop and got all the way to the handstand...kinda. I over balanced at the end but I could definatly hold it on another go. Sadley I haven't recorded one since :o(

  • I give you credit for effort, but that, my friend, was an incorrect push-up. Better luck next time. Lol.

  • Well don't leave me hanging here. Tell me how its done so I can improve it! :S

  • Haha. Your straddle press to handstand was exellent, friend. But as a push up it was incorrect. Lol. Push up consist of pushing oneself away from the ground and then lowering oneself back to the ground using the arms. You, my friend, did not do that. Lol. But exellent straddle planche to handstand, nonetheless.

  • Right....read the discription again mate and you'll see that I realised that I didn't execute an actual push up. I was attemptting to do a push up from a prone position but accidently ended up doing a straddle planche press to handstand.

    Think before you speak.

  • What, you heard me speak? Amazing, Lol. But I do agree, one should think before one speaks or write. Keep doing that.

I read the description, matey, it says you were originally going for a push-up. Which is wrong, because you were actually going for a straddle planche push-up. You failed either way, because you performed a straddle planche press to handstand. Which was exellent done, might I add. Keep it up.

  • Just so I don't come off like a complete jackass to you and that I do have some decency...thank you for the positive comment :o)

So you know that I was going for a straddle planche push up, I already knew in the first place that I didn't do a staddle planche push up and of course I know what a push up is....why are you pointing these things out to me?

  • well unless he's vying for a spot on the Olympic team, it looked pretty impressive, flaws and all! I would love to learn how to do this!

  • Very nice, you are a solid presser. Not to be a picky little bastard but that isn't quite a planche press, a planche press is when you re in a planche with straight arms and then press up into a handstand. What you did is called a bower - it is a slightly easier variation of the planche press done with bent arms. You got nothing to be ashamed of though doing a bower on the first try is nothing short of great.

Keep training on you;ll get a planche press :).

  • Dude this was so beast I wish I could do this I need to condition this summer.

And I don't mean to be a pain, but this was actually a hollow-back press, and Planche press to handstand has straight arms all the way through and is much harder.

But it is still much more beast than me, and understandable since you were originally going for a straddle Planche push-up.

  • Great!

  • omg... wow

  • Haha. I`m just messing with you, man. Lol.
