"Anyway That You Want Me" is a original soulful gem from Evie Sands & title of her great debut Lp now available on compact disc...other great Cd's from this "Unsung" legendary singer are out of print and price has soared...get anything Evie while its available...all her great works are musical gems...bravo great lady, you rock!

1969 has a distinctive sound all to its own, and this song epitomizes it---am so glad somebody had the savvy to make this video----3:10 is the money shot. Wish I had been older than 11 when this came out, I woulda hunted her down and married her.

Do not know what Chip Taylor may have been smoking but the Liverpool Five recorded it first and released it on RCA Victor in the US. It was up to #98 on the Billboard charts before the Troggs even recorded it in England.. For the best version drop over to " Nuggets from the Liverpool Five ( Part2) on You Tube and become another fan of this fabulous band now getting widr attention.The secret is out baby!!!!!.

@JakeANowhereMan Yes, and I'm pretty sure that The Troggs did the original version. It was written by Chip Taylor, who wrote "Wild Thing" + some more hits.
