Well Regie... I'd LOVE to, unfortunately most of the gray-hired, far gut geriatrics who own these things never want to race, and those who do spend their friday nights at home wathcing re-runs of the 700 Club. Fast cars come in all shapes and sizes, and I'm sure there are a few Chargers out there that would eat me alive. But they'll have to post better than a 10.23 @133.06 to do it... at least that was my best time at Norwalk Raceway in Ohio this past summer. Will be posting pass vids soon.
And this for sure in a stock car that was cheaper than the Charger (3.200 bucks). Oh, and a stock Charger R/T with tires from 1968 did the 1/4 mile in 13.5 sec. Just add some slicks and do slightly work @ the engine and you have a car that easily runs under 12 sec. Not so bad for a 40 year old car with just few mods... Oh and by the way, even here in Switzerland (only around 15 old Chargers are here) is a full-steel body Charger that does the 1/4 mile in 9.5 sec...
HA HA HA! Yeah, a 440 Six pack Magnum will gladly run 10s. And it'll take about half the engine work and money to do it. Since you're dogging muscle, I'm assuming you're either some Euro-trash BMW slut, or a real Japanese import-slut. No one over the age of 24 thinks the sound of your turbo spooling is cool man. You're almost as full of shit as the Charger is of excess weight. If you think a 68 Charger will run 10's with just a few mods, then you've just proven you don't know a fucking thing about drag racing. I LOVE dusting old men in classic muscle cars. Times have changed, and smart guys have found out it's about power-to-weight ratio. But you're right about Euro-trash and jap scrap-- I hate them both. I'll stick with my Cobra.

Hope to have a vid up as soon as the winter breaks.
