That was my point however, my girlfriend Doesn't want to be cared for, many other girls i know feel the same way.

They don't want men pandering over them, they want men to treat them the way they'd treat other men. This doesn't go for all girls.

Some girls LOVE the whole gentlemen treatment, but in my exp with women... most of them prefer just being treated with respect, rather than being pandered over.

You don't have to follow every gentleman rule there ever existed but learnin about how to act like a gentleman is never a bad idea, and if you want your date to be classy you should behave that way too. That's not being a puppy dog. Judge yourself before telling others what to do.

I'd like to hear Julia Allison on: Being a lady. What is a lady Julia? What does a lady do for a gentleman? The fact is that equality can never be achieved, especially not through this "ladies and gentlemen"- delusion women invented called: chivalry. Men and women should want to be equally happy through traits and activities they can agree on and enjoy.
