  • Drew. There is another S-6 organ for $80.00 o.b.o. on Craigs list in Madison, Wi. Just thought I'd let you know man.

  • @Tommytkeys Hey Tommy - I think that's a good price. I'm satisfied with the one I have. I actually took 2 organs and combined them so that all the features would work for one, and the other one was broken down for parts if I'd ever need them again. If it were here in town, I'd be sure it all works, and then re-sell it------but they're very heavy, and to get it from Madison would take away any profits made from the resale. COOL that you found one though! Thanks for letting me know : )

  • Excelllent video drew gonna hang around a bit Was painting a house this week and noticed one of these organs in the office and was very impressed on the condition of it very few sratches or marks anywere on it the customer noticed me looking at it and asked that golden question " know anyone who wants an organ?" needles to say it is in my house now so now I am researching it and I found you gonna sub you buddy

  • @forbzee63 Thank you for the compliment. I really enjoy the S-6 chord organ because I can't really play a regular organ. I'm not coordinated enough to learn-----really, I'm too lazy. As you may have seen in some of my other videos, I can simply use the chords from a song, and sing along with them. And I DO learn other songs with the full melody played too. It's just a very user-friendly organ. I like it : ) Thank you again for your comment - I really appreciate it. DREW

  • Your Hammond B3 is worth easily $25K! GOOD thing to inherit! I wish I were able to play well enough to play a B3.

I have bipolar disorder. At the time this video was made, Lithium and Pamelar combination is what caused the horrible tremors. I'm on different medications now, and no longer have the tremor-----which is pretty incredible. I shook like that for SO many years. I could hardly write anymore! You could hear it in my voice even.

  • That's awesome, I found an M3 in February for 10 bucks. Did you modify it so you can run it through the Leslie? Because M3s don't have that kind of output, right?

  • @DelRockford Whoooo hooo! $10 is a great price! : ) My M-3 did not have a Leslie output connector either. I didn't convert it because I really can't play it. The chord organ was built for simple minds, like mine, lol. I can play the chord organ, but not the M-3, so I got rid of it recently. I had planned to take lessons to play it, but that's one of those things in life that I figured I'd never get to.

  • Sweet organ there....I have a 1956 Hammond B3 with 2 Leslie 122a's..Inherited the items from my parents...(God rest their souls) and also a 1964 Steinway Model D Concert grand...

So, what combo of meds do you take that causes you to shake like that? Horrible side effects. The doctor has me on Norco and Soma for my back..The Soma takes care of the pain while the Soma relaxes the back muscles...

  • Very cool walkthrough. Thanks for posting! I was disappointed you didn't speak with a Scottish brogue :) Nice score on the $15 M3/760. I teach in a music store and it runs the gambit of people coming in with stuff they've paid either nothing or 10x what it is worth, ha!
