This is really good, although I think an improvised version where you go up to random people as a geek would be better. This had too much monologuing.

Hey, you're absolutely right! The movie does sound a bit scripted. But the surfer who walks by in the 2nd shot (when the camera is overlooking from a hill) isn't an actor, and he just gawks at Carl for a while while he walks. Thanks man.
