The simple fact of the matter is that as awesome and as funny as these spoofs are the images are licensed to the companies and more so to the artists. Thereby reuse and overdubbing would be illegal use without express written consent from the companies..... Corporations win again sadly.

Abridged series are legal under the law of Fair Use because they are in the form of a parody. So long as a distinction can be made between the original and the parody copyright law protects the parody and it's creators. Also, any revenue gained by the parody belongs to the owner of the parody because it is their own work even though they use the orginal work. Gotta love law.

your killing your fan base i forgot all about dbz (that i watched when i was like... 5) and then i found the abridged and it made me remember like bleach i saw one bleach episode when i was little then later found abridged and now i watch it all the time you guy should thank the abridged series because if they werent there you woldnt have as many fans
