@cepiroth1 not really no, I've heard something about tornadoes (I really dunno) but no, cyclones don't usually go as far south a Perth metro. As far as I know, there have been 2 cyclones that far south. However when this hit, I remember something from the news, "cyclones this far south may become a norm, in the near future". This was all last cyclone season so yeah. Another thing, the areas in rural WA where cyclones usually hit, buildings are cyclone rated. Down south, they aren't.
My backyard patio got hit by lightning and some of it was on the electricity line One metal beam went through someones garage wall,it was only our street that got affected the most by the storm in the area.D:
The gable from our patio went through the side of someones car. Our patio is gone, back fence fell down, kitchen ceiling collapsed with insulation all over the floor, the SES came and put four metal beams that held up the temporary ceiling. The tiles on the back of the roof were destroyed
Big deal we had a storm like that this afternoon in the Hunter, and one like it last month, so what?
