This is all (most...perhaps a few death cutscenes are left out) of the FMV footage from the Playstation video game Rebel Assualt II: The Hidden Empire, with some gameplay footage added to try and avoid obvious gaps.

Something that many have missed out on, Rebel Assualt II contained the first footage shot in the Star Wars universe since ROTJ. The acting is horrible, but it's a must-see for any true Star Wars fan.

My editing it far from perfect, but you'll get the jist. Whether your a first-timer, or somebody who played the game over a decade ago.

  • The way Rookie one said Tie Fighters always made me laugh. Lol I must have been easily amused as a kid XD and is it just me or does the sound seem a bit out? Maybe it's because its the PS version I only played it on PC

  • @braceyfaceanimegurl it's not just you. He says "TIE fighters" in pretty much the nerdiest voice of all time. I think Jim Parsons based his entire Big Bang Theory character on that one line. :p

  • What's the name of the John Williams theme you used at the very end during the death clips?

  • @TheAeroAvatar "Across The Stars (Love Theme from Star Wars: Episode II)"

  • Why does Vader like showing so many Imperials his head while he gets helmeted? It reminds me of the west wing when people would stand around while the president put on socks. Important people doing mundane things like you and I. Does he, like the rest of us, put his gloved robot hands on one at a time, or are they built in? Does Vader fasten then zip, or zip and then fasten? Or not at all? Ouch.

  • @sumbuddyx He's more machine now than man. Twisted, and dickless.

  • @DeltaFoxtrotWhiskey3 While they are native to Tatooine, they probably exist elsewhere. On Earth, rats often infest cargo vessels and spread anywhere commerce is. In fact, the common house centipede, or scutigera coleoptrata is native to the Mediterranean region where spread worldwide on cargo ships and are now found all over the place. It's probable several pests in the SW universe had a similar propensity for dissemination.

  • @kregerfilms You nailed it...

  • @kregerfilms why are the prequels the darkside im 20 years old and the first starwars films i watched were the old ones and still i love the prequels as much as the old ones maybe i like the prequels even more with their new teqnicues. No hate just my oppinion i find i sad that many people dont like the prequels

  • It's so cool watching these clips and seeing so many costumes, props and set pieces that I am SURE are straight from the movies. The footage in this game was more of a time capsule for the LFM archives than anything else.

Rebel Assault II and Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight. These two games made for an exciting era for Star Wars fans, seeing all new film footage. Before the dark times...before the prequels...

  • i liked this vid/mini sw movie. though it would be cool to make animated(hand drawn or cgi) movies of all the different star wars n star trek games n novels. there's a novel st about the starfleet academy game. just a cool thought.

  • @Beckmen Ya know that makes sense now I think about it. Though Parsons must be true SW fan as that must mean he's at least played this game(which is awesome because Sheldon is my fave character XD). I always wondered whether the BBT guys were actually geeks in real life or just normal people playing geeks.

  • @braceyfaceanimegurl Another thing I didnt get is why Admiral Ackbar said 'May the Force be with You' when Luke wasnt a Jedi Master then. Though I guess it could be just before ROTJ. Another thing I wondered was how did they manage to get a flight recording at 16.32 from the players perspective and not Rookie One's XP
