Clear up operation of the train crash at Rickerscote, Stafford which occurred on the 8th march 1996. A freight train hauling liquid carbon dioxide derailed and was then hit by a travelling post office train running in the opposite direction. The crash resulted in the tragic loss of one life. Twenty two others including the driver of the mail train were injured.
