A strong solar flare took place around departing Sunspot 1165 at 10:44 UTC Tuesday and registered M5.3. Because of the position of this sunspot, any explosions at this point around this region may not be earth directed.Several M-Class flares took place on Monday around Sunspots 1164, 1165 and 1166.

  • @rollsthepaul and before you plan to commit a suicide please donnate all your belongings to me. I will do better than you and your strange beliefs in armageddon flares for a very weak solar cycle. Seriously.

  • Geryl says that the big one, a whopper, for 2011 will be Oct. 11, followed by big ones in Jan and Apr 2012 and the Armageddon flare of Dec 20 2012. I hope death becomes you and me.
