God of War II: rotating platform glitch

This is the sort of break-out we haven't seen before. I did it by accident: ran to the handle casually, flicked R1. Perhaps it is telekinesis?

This allows you to leave the statue in an angle that it could not be

The statue that allows the use of AotF is at angles of 90, 180, etc..

With this glitch, the statue could be at any angle (angle of 45 º...)

That's true. What I'm most interested about this glitch is that it indicates that any rotating crank could be glitched this way (theoretically).

Another possibility (which you probably tested):

Once you get the SoD, some enemies will appear, and the rotating crank enter into a hole, if the glitch remains, could break the artificial intelligence of them, because they do not know what to do in this situation.

And with this, this fight would be much easier

Nah, they fight just like normal. The platform continues to swirl all the time though.
