2nd Temple of Jerusalem

My friend and I work for 5 days constructing a replica model of the
2nd Temple that once stood in Jerusalem before it was destroyed in 70 AD by the Romans. This Temple was the center of Jewish worship and sacrifice. Check out this beautiful model made of poplar wood and consists of 267 pieces.

Lovelly reconstruction....style looks like the buildings that stood at Persoplis. I surpose that should be no surprise since the second temple was (so I have read) commisioned by Artaxerxes

Actually The Temple Herod built was the actual Third Temple the second Temple was the Temple of Zerubbal. there was Solomon's Zerubbal's, and finally Herod's.Zerubbal's Temple was so inferior to Solomon's temple in So many ways Read Ezra's account The old men wept because it was nothing Like Solomon's temple. The Temple of Herod was by Jesus Time over 46 years old It is likely that Herod demolished Zerubbal's Temple, and started working on His own around 37 or 27 BC
