Comment below advises to use cool power 15% fuel in these engines. This is not good advice. The ball & socket wrist joint (no wrist pin) design of the Cox engines needs castor oil. Instead of connecting to the piston skirt like normal wrist pin, it connects at the crown, so operates much hotter. The synthetic oil in cool-power fuel will cook off and provide virtually no lubrication at the ball & socket, leading to rapid wear and short life.
