These are the credits to the original, 2-hour, version of The Tornado Project's "Tornado Video Classics II". The footage seen here is smoke from an oil fire in Gotebo, Oklahoma on June 2, 1985. The oil fire was likely caused by lightning and was reported by several radio stations as a tornado. There actually were several small tornadoes in the area, the closest was 4 miles west of Gotebo.

This was shot by Jim Leonard and the soundtrack toward the end (after the radio alert) by Michael Jackson.

  • The booklet says NSSL and Gene Moore.

  • Who is listed in the booklet as having filmed the Seymour, TX tornado that's shown in the Fujita Scale section? Gene Moore is supposed to be the one who shot it but his name isn't listed in the credits here.
