Alfredo Romo 3 New Mexican Freediving Records Vertical Blue 2010

Alfredo Romo set three National Records for Mexico in the international freediving competition Vertical Blue 2010." The young Mexican from Riviera Nayarit, Mexico has only just begun his freediving career, and is a recent graduate of the Vertical Blue Master Class, where he reached a depth of 52 meters with bi- fins and no wetsuit." In only his third competition dive, he used a monofin to break the Mexican Constant Weight record, with a depth of 60 meters (197 feet). With his impressive results securing all three national records as a newcomer to the table there is high expectations of more records and deeper dives on the horizon.
