I wish someone would do a film on Howlin Wolf - one of the original stones had a huge collection of his stuff not readily available - I'm a huge fan of Living Colour but black radio never would fit them in concentrated on RAP
Man, what a bunch of whining little babies. The rock world is indifferent towards Fishbone and Living Color because they're playing shitty 80s metal in a post Nirvana world. These clowns are pushing 40 and 50, were signed to major labels when they were in their 20s but failed to deliver, and they STILL have careers. What are they crying about?
Black people liking Rock music has become muuuch more acceptable in the past few years as Black folks have adopted aesthetics from Punk and Indie Rock and as (whether you like him or not) Mainstream Hip-Hop artists like Lil Wayne have tried to step out of the box. Also dare I say the Guitar Hero phenomenon had at least something to do with this as well.
