Mid Hants Railway Great Spring Steam Gala
I payed a visit to the MHR for there annual steam gala, this year had a GWR feel with no less then 4 GWR locos running reduce to 3 GWR running. The annual fleet was running too with two newly overhauled locos running on the gala too. King class 6024 King Edward I was due to make an appernace to the gala sadly was ruded out of gauge issues en route to alton.

Visiting Locomotives
- Hall Class 4953 Pitchford Hall visiting from the Great Central Railway
- Dukedog 9017 Earl of Berekley visiting from the Bluebell Railway
- City class 3717 City of Truro visiting from the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway/NRM york

Home Fleet

- Newly overhauled U class 31806
- Newly 6 month overhaul Lord Nelson class 850 Lord Nelson
- Black 5 45379
- 9F 92212
- Standard 5 73096
- 5205 5224 sadly not running on the Saturday & Sunday due to a slipped tyre

I rode on the 10:05 to Ropley by 850 Lord Nelson, 13:17 to Metead by 45379, 14:42 to Alton by 850 Lord Nelson, 15:35 to Alresford by 4953 Pitchford Hall
