@hersheynugget121 , yup you will have great fun in your playboat, they are a bit slower so you wont catch some of the slower waves. but if your boat has nice sharp edges she will carve nicely. i learned in an old dancer, any boat will do... go for it man!!

@hersheynugget121 It's alright, playboats just aren't fast enough to keep up with the break.

So whats the difference between surf kayaks and whitewater boats? If i take my playboat out in the surf will it be fun?

@MrThepoopa Sit ins, and make sure you can roll, please don't go out in waves like these without knowing how to roll and brace.

@wazzabbz123 thats stupid that someone flagged your comment i am curious to how much it is. I bought Ocean Kayak Prowler around 800. Im thinking these kayaks probably lower end models would be that much
