My New Chickies

i just got them today!! (4/22/07) for some reason the one hen thinks its fun to walk in her water and jump on and off the perch haha. dont mind the noise at about 3:20 i think one of my other chickies fell off the perch in my main coop. they are belgian quail bantams

Are they just in there because you bought them in that cage or are they in there so you could film them easier (They're beautiful hens by the way)? Chickens love their space.

it was easier to film...they are in my huge chicken mansion of a coop now haha. they are spoiled little things. i love them<3

That's very relieving to know, I'm always saddened when I hear about animals and children being mistreated these days. It's great to hear about Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and his 'Chicken Out!' campain. It's also great that free-range is getting so much more interest than it used to. It's proving we're smarter and more compassionate as people and consumers.

they dont have hardly any meet on them since there a bantam and there show type birds .... so technically no there no some good eating in a few months.
