@KingOystar, I have some "Hanukkah weight" that I have to knock off now... but, I have to admit... I su-u-u-u-ure enjoyed putting it on!!! (Can I brag here just a little??? I "won" the kugel contest at my congregation's holiday party!!! Woot-woot!!! Got two movie tickets AND my rabbis gave me a $50 dinner gift card!!!)

@Genesis2Jesus Hugel iS good! but I must say enjoy the Lakies the most. at my Shul my Rabbi's wife made chocolate filled donuts as well as Jelly this year and she didnt use Powdered sugar this year.

@KingOystar, Aaaaaahh!!! I just soooo don't want to diet right now!!! My rabbi also made fresh, deep fried donuts for Hanukkah, powdered sugar and all... Oooh, I love chocolate and... "chocolate filled donuts" sounds sooo good right about now!! I like latkes... I have a quick, store bought box in my kitchen... ...just in case I have to have latkes, this can be a quick fix!!! (I'm gonna go grab a "healthy" apple right now). Also had beef brisket dinner - veggies and all.
