I first became familiar with Hugo Weaving in a movie called Proof in which he played a BLIND photographer. Russell Crowe was alsom in this movie and was a waiter. Hugo's character hired Russell to describe pics to him. But yeah that is where I first saw Hugo Weaving.

Terrence Stamp gave one of the deepest and most soulful performances of his whole career in this movie. The character he played was not just some "funny drag queen". If you watch the movie and really pay attention you'll see that. In fact they all played people that were real and deep. This is one of the best movies ever made, not just for the laughs either.

To be honest i saw Hugo Weaving firstly as Tic in Priscilla so i can never keep a straight face when watching ANY of his other movies i just picture him in drag every time i see him.
