  • 7lobo7, the QB slide rule is only in effect if he uses a "hook slide" - a feet-first slide to avoid hard contact. That has to be legs first and then you're correct, he is down where he began it.

I'm amazed by the people that can't tell he was down, though. What is the red thing by his helmet other than the defender's hand? A pigeon?

  • Actually at 13 seconds and 18 seconds you can see the defender's hand touching Beck's helmet, well before the ball crosses the goal. I'm a Dolphin fan too, and it was a very close call, but it wasn't a TD.

  • You're right! It was a two-point conversion...

  • Gah. :)

  • Im a Dolphins fan and its so obvious to me he didnt score that conversion. Anyone saying otherwise is seriously blind, dumb, or so fanatical they are delirious. But who the hell really cares? its a freaking preseason game, gimme a break. They lost the last game and i could care less either way. BUT, I hope these retarded refs dont blow calls like this during the regular season. SPECIALLY on an instant replay review

  • heh does it really matter? it was just a preseason game...lol

if, on the other hand, this happened during a regular season game, or even a playoff game, it would be more important.

  • It's only a penalty if he hits him with it.

  • Should be a major penalty on the play as the tackler is leading with his head.

  • acually i chang e my mind the rb head gets hit right before the ball crosses the plain therefor no good

  • i cant see when he was touched so there isnt enough evidence to over turn the ball. the ruling on the field was good so its good(not enough evidence to oerturn it imo)

  • hey dude, the refs can't see in slow-motion and a review wasn't called. stop cryin. go Beck!

  • so... whats the deal they lost

  • It was called a T.D but clearly, the ball never crossed the line. I dont know wtf the refs were thinking. The ball doesnt even come close. Should have never been a TD

  • yea ur right it does look like it wasnt

  • a t.d. but it wasnt one

  • it was good right? what was it called?
