@DuckWarrior13 Fair comment, I can see where you come from. I was really tempted to go and attack him and do as you said, but our party leader was really mental and was screaming at us to obey him. The tactic was, me and another guy go for the zombies/guards, leaving him and the last man to attack Vana. It was a little boring and frustrating not to do anything - I agree. Just was following what our leader said - Vanaduke does require a specific fighting pattern and I didn't know too much.

How is running around with a charged sword in any way helpful? You should have been throwing water at the very least, and getting a few shots on vanaduke between. Also, you wasted attacking time in phase one by running around while charging. His aggro was blatantly not on you. You can just stand, charge and attack.
