here's a ride on GRTC gillig phantom 40' bus with a cummins ISL and voith D864.3 transmission. YES ITS A VOITH TRANS........... THE RETARDER IS OFF!!!!!!!! As you may/may not be aware, Gillig no longer produces the Phantom. Therefore, GRTC will be receiving Gillig Low Floors in the future.

The recent delivery of 300's (Low Floors) were to replace the 900's (Phantoms); those were kept because of rising service demand.

The next order of Low Floors will be either next year or 2010. No word on what will be replaced at that time.

well i figured that. the 900's are about 12 years deep in the game. damn ima miss them.

they need to get the GILLIG BRT'S but i know that they not gon spend that type of money on them. luv GRTC but they bieng a lil cheap on tha rear destination signs tho.
