This was the mbed robot racing exhibit at the ARM Technology Conference in Santa Clara, CA, Nov 10-11, 2010. The main purpose of the exhibit was to allow visitors to use ARM's mbed: a rapid protyping system featuring a programmable LPC1768 Cortex-M3 processor and a web-based IDE. The mbed was attached to a Pololu 3pi Robot using a custom board.

Visitors to the exhibit could program the robots to follow lines, or they could control the robot over bluetooth with an Android phone. There was a 1-lap racing contest and the fastest 5 entrants were given prizes. Surprisingly, the winner of the contest (shown in this video at 2:33) didn't use a line following algorithm; he actually hardcoded the sequence of motor movements in to his 3pi.
