Hard to believe that after 33+ minutes "first female runner" was the best the commentator could come up with. Great race, Cayla!

I was holing the camera with one hand and an umbrella in the other, so I had no access to start lists during the race. The first female seed was 37'00 or so, so it hadn't stuck out to me enough that I had remembered it. If she were seeded at 33'20, I definitely would have remembered her name! Either way, I'm sure I won't forget it in the future; this was a very impressive race and she certainly has a bright future in running.

Great commentary. Made watching an entire 10k entertaining!
(I wonder if flotrack is hiring!)

The first place woman was Cayla Hatton, a 17 year old high schooler from Phillips Academy. Her time of 33:17.28 is #2 all time for high school girls and is under the Olympic Trials B standard.

I hate flotrack's "commentary". It's so bland and dry.

" A lot of people looking at their watches with 400 to go - that's kind of silly". Ahaha awesome. Can't believe that girl is in high school!.
