Saw this yesterday out in the back yard of the Cloud Club in Boston, Massachusetts. Nature's own little drama. What he doesn't realize is that his meal is being observed...

[UPDATE: Thanks, Nils, for pointing out that "it's actually a Coopers hawk, an accipter, not a falcon."]

  • The bird is an adult female Coopers Hawk, for those who want to know, "NOT" a Peregrine falcon!! I'm a Falconer and know.

  • Look to the right and click on more info and you'll see that this was pointed out to me years ago. (But thanks for pointing it out again all the same.)

  • @NordicHealer i agree. the coloring matches, as well as the markings. I am not a Falconer (yet) but I'm studying for apprenticeship.

  • cool i want to make it extinct 1 pigeon species down hundreds to go

  • this video is good, but i hate background music// something like a dead baby's choir.

  • the cloud pigeon is not in fact extinct, but only endangered.
