  • This is definately LATE 70's, Looks like 79. The early ones have a different face and knobs and tubes; also, per fender dating, "F9+5-digits - 1979-1980" the serial number also confirms this.

    yeh its a 79, my typo - the guy selling it told me it was a 69, a bit of research before buying it confirmed it was a 79.

  • I thought these amps ran from 1970 - 1982?

  • 1973 and earlier models had 6AQ5 power tubes. Your amp is more likely a 1979 model with the 6V6 tubes and the on/off switch on the front panel. I have two of these from 1973 and both have 6AQ5 power tubes, 7 pin versions of the 6V6. You've got a nice amp there, I love my musicmasters.
