  • Catherine,I just wanted to thank you for your wonderful website full of information. Now I live in Morocco and henna is available everywhere so I have taking it as a great hobby.thank you!!

  • Catherine, It's so great to match the face with the name! I just got indigo from your company. I am also a victim of PPD allergic reaction so I am happy that you are educating everyone on Henna and indigo. God bless.

  • part 2:

My hair is very long so this whole process took me forever. It would be discouraging if the color doesn't come out. Its the 2nd time I tried dying it with henna. The first time I mixed too many things in the "red" henna so it never worked. Today I'm trying the brown and I have a feeling it won't work. Plus its all dark-green in my hair; I'm not sure if its suppose to be like that. Let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

  • Part 1:

I used 2 packs of body art Henna (dark brown) and only mixed it with lemon juice. I covered the bowl and left it in the kitchen for 12 hours. Next day I applied it on my hair and also on a few stranded hair from my comb as a 'test' to see what it would look like. I'm leaving the henna in my hair for 8 hrs but I washed out the henna on the stranded hair to see the results and there was no change. I have dark brown (looks black) African hair.

  • We've shot a video of this process and will post it sometime in the next few weeks.

  • Send an e-mail with your question to info(at)mehandi(dot)com and someone in the office will help you.

  • Hi!

I've just ordered from you and discovered your youtube today! Is it ok to put BAQ henna over henna with mettalic salts in it? I've been using cheap henna with the salts, and I wonder if it's going to have a reaction when I put (your) BAQ henna over it.

    Thanks!

    Aibell

  • Can you please do another video dying a black hair shade with henna and indigo. Thanks
