Wait, the new "Slash" even stands like Slash and wears a top hat? Is this a joke? How can that guy even get up in the morning to do a Slash impression every night. This is NOT Guns n' Roses. If you think it is, you must also like Justin Bieber and think that the current KISS is original members.

@jasonchet This is GNR and it is awesome! If you dont like, just watch Slash with Fergie...LOL. And its not because Ashba is wearing a top hat that he's trying to be Slash. For sure he has been inspired by him, but he already had his own style and sounded well before joining GNR. He is perfect for GNR! Just stop living in the past and bitching on great musician just because thei are not the original members. Dont be dumb ass frustrated haters!

I attended the gig at the O2 Arena on 14th October 2010 and was blown away by Fortus (very individualistic, sexy playing, completely at one with his instrument). DJ Ashba also has awesome talent but is too close to Slash's style to make a major impact in terms of individuality and personal style... Axl's vocals are strong but the power, devil-may-care attitude, the rebelliousness and sheer youthful hunger is gone - I could not quite understand why? Is this the effect of clean living???

@PussyKat881 I think it's due to clean living, if we can call it this way...lol, and the effects of age. He can't be the same as 25 years ago as he's getting close to 50 years old... but he still is a true legend and a must see on live performances.

i wish people would stop going on about slash hes not coming back to guns n roses i like many other people was like wtf wheres slash when i first saw the new guns n roses but now i think the band has come of age with the new songs and new guitar player so if you no longer like the band dont watch thier new stuff stay in the past and watch the old band over and over slash has said himself he just wants to focus on his new projects and get velvet revolver back in the studio

@PussyKat881 i went to see gnr in birmingham 3 days after. i agree, fortus is a very good guitarist, and bumblefoot is very good too. ashba is good but not as good, he looks cool but is pretty similar to slash, doubt hes copying slash just thier styles are similar. i think axl is great, even though he was over an hour late lol. i love this line up of guns n roses, not going to be better without the original so lets hope they stick together and work on a new album.
