Competitive Cyclist's review of Reynolds Carbon Wheelsets. Reynolds makes the most versatile carbon wheels on the planet: light, stiff, and durable enough for everyday use. The DV, MV, SDV, Attacks, and Assaults will exceed your expectations of what a carbon wheel should be.

  • Hi Andy,

my Reynold Assault wheel make some kind metal breaking sound

when I change gear, cassette. I think of replacing Reynold Hub that give me some problem cracking sound when pressure. To replace DT Swiss Hub cost almost S$700.00. I was asking if I could purchase Durace Hub 20/24 spoke from Competitive Cyclist?

  • davidharley Do you need a single hub, or both front and rear?

  • Reynolds warranty is horrrible, and so are their carbon wheels. Used the correct pads and warped the braking surface sue to heat and they told me it was my fault. DO NOT BUY REYNOLDS!

  • Oh dear, look what happens when you don't stick with Mavic. Really dig their exalith rim braking track this year.

  • Carbon wheelsets are a ridiculously poor investment for almost all riders.

  • I melted my Attacks on the first mile of a steep downhill (2010 version)

  • Reynold Assault give lots of problem, cracking sound, last week I saw Durace C35 full carbon was very impress with it, not sure of the cost of the DuraceC35?

Still comtemplating of buying another set of wheels than to replace DT Hub b'cos they are very expensive!

  • Hi Andy,

I need both front and back Hub, you able to supply Durace Hubs?

20 spoke front & 24 spoke back hub.

  • Which should i get between Reynolds Attack Carbon Clincher or Shimano DuraAce WH7850? For racing only.

  • @Cycleian racing zeros. Thats what I'm getting
