Can you believe this song never went to number one on the pop charts? R&B charts but not "pop." It was revived in 1990 in that horrendous movie with Demi Moore "Ghost."
But for me it was Homecoming 1965 and I slow danced to this song. Damn, it was the only thing I remembered. Great song...covered over 5,000 times I think...do you know why it has "Unchained" in the title? Google it.

Almost always the last dance at the Sunday night dances at the university dorm's common room. The other was Ray Aker Bilk's Stranger by the Shore. Ah. The 60s!
