It's just such twisted gibberish. Sacrifice to this god, sacrifice to that god, sacrifice to the sky, the tree, the wind, the sun, the moon, on and on forever. Humans have sacrificed animals to anything and everything there is, and the result? Nothing but rivers of blood. Killing a goat won't change who you are, it won't do a damn thing other than to show you are stuck in the Middle Ages, trying to please a deity of questionable sanity. Blood sacrifice is primitive, offensive, and useless.

@mrmonkeyisland1 you can read but you don't know the law.for starters it was extremely rare for these punishments to be meted out.they were deterrents but actual capital punishment required so many conditions that you had to have a death wish to be executed.even then if the person was deemed insane would not be executed-punished by jail yes-killed no.

Mrmonkeyisland does have it right. Judaism is a religion of blood. They even sacrifice human foreskin, suck on the wound, and have washed their faces and lips in the blood.

So "what goes on in heaven" is an obvious rationalization to distract from what is plainly going on here on earth.

Only a "believer" or a fool, would overlook this.

My main desire is to live free from the laws your "god" gave in the Bible, you know, the ones commanding genocide, death to witches and homosexuals, death to anyone who works on the Sabbath, death to a woman raped in a city because she did not cry for help! And naturally, death for anyone who blasphemes, or worships other gods. These atrocities come from your scripture. Do you suppose your morals are superior because you have god on your side? Wrong.
