  • do you know the flow rate that it was sinking?

  • i think i had the reg set at 10 psi.

  • I am compressing hydrogen and running engines on hydrogen I have made. It can be done, but not like most of the websites are representing. Roy McAlister has great information and videos. It is not cheaper than gasoline to run unless you are making it yourself. I do have some basic videos posted and information on our groups website. This information is free.

  • thank you You are correct. It is best to mfg it yourself. Ron has a great deal of info, look fwd to your website.

  • You do know that if a backfire catches the hydrogen in the hose on fire, it will go directly into the bottle and cause it to explode ? A water filled bubbler with a blow-off valve should be used between the engine and the tank. You can very easily kill yourself and anyone that is within 30 feet, if you blow-up your tank. This also applies to any pressurized gases. Don't play games!

  • oh yes,,,i know it backfires,,,it is alway a good idea to protect yourself just incase of a backfire. i totally agree.

  • @newagemotor Hydrogen can't burn on it's own. It needs oxygen... yes, the tube would burn and but it can't go into the bottle. Well, maybe in Hollywood it can. It's far safer than gasoline because if a tank were dropped, you'd get one big "POOF" and it's gone, with gasoline, it sits and burns from the vapors for longer.

  • @newagemotor if its pure hydrogen then it shouldn't ignite as there is no oxygen but if its HHO then it will BADLY.

  • @Video85Man there is no O2 in the gas it is straigth hydrogen and needs oxygen to backfire the motor is getting the oxygen at the motor connection

  • could this engine create a really loud exhaust sound?

  • @newagemotor If the bottle is 100% Hydrogen then it will not explode but rather burn an intense invisible flame upwards. As it has to mix with Oxygen before it will burn. However if in making your own Hydrogen in the form of an HHO generator then you are absolutely correct as the hydrogen is mixed with oxygen already.

  • where did you get a hydrogen tank?

  • @thegreatkoua You can buy it may places, it took me a while to find the best google search. Google Hydrogen Supplier, and you'll get a bunch of companies that sell it. I found Praxair to be closest to me, and I haven't bought any yet, but I will. You could split the Hydrogen yourself either with Electrolysis or adding chemicals to water... (not sure which)

  • That engine cant take close to its full load in that state like it would runing on petrol

  • do you use a flashback arrestor for that tank of hho?

  • Great work guys! Could u tell me what type of cell you used and how you got it into the 2" or so top of the hydren canister?

And yes on the bubbler unless you know something I don't about your setup!
