Mark and Lucas always had each other to depend on through the years. This is dedicated to Chuck Connors and Johnny Crawford, because no one else could ever have played Mark and Pa like they did. Finished this in less than a day and I would like to thank God for all the inspiration He gives me and the wonderful people He has put in my life!

A lot of kids back then (me included) looked at the relationship between Mark and his Dad and then looked at our own and just sighed.

Thank you for making this montage of scenes from the Rifleman.Oddly enough,I'm watching season 2 on dvd as I write this comment.I was a tremendous fan of this show growing up as a young boy.I was born in 1967,but saw the reruns.I used to dress up like Lucas complete with toy rifle and cowboy and walk towards the tv during the opening sequence.

You were truly inspired to make this touching tribute to the best father and son team ever on television. I believed every second of that relationship and the two of them stayed friends in real life until we lost Chuck. Has Johnny seen this vid? He'd love it. Stroke of genius to use Kenny's song.
